Get in Touch

I can receive letters and packages at the following address!!

For those of you that are wondering, USPS flat rate boxes are the best way to send care packages. They have small, medium and large boxes to choose from and range from $20-$70.

Anything is greatly appreciated!

  1. Hi there actually out there literally. I just read your latest blog and enjoyed every word. This is a lifetime experience. You will never be able to cll yourself a small time ND girl again. now you are amongst the 1% that is a world traveler.
Sorry about your friend. It is a difficult thing to see a friend leave. I hope that she is OK
Mom tells me that you found a bagel shop someplace and wrote to me. I never saw that message. I would have responded. I apologize.
Keep on posting. You do it so well.

  2. Hi Amber,

I stumbled across your blog while Googling away a wave of nostalgia this morning. I was in your job from 1995 to 1997. Permet is such a wonderful place to be. I always felt like I had the best site in the country. Enjoy every minute of it 🙂

  3. Good Day Amber!

Sorry to bother you. My name is Ray Blakney and I am a RPCV from Mexico. I am working on a 3rd goal project with the PC regional offices and the main office in DC to try to create an online archive to keep the language training material made all over the world from getting lost. I have created a sub-section on the website my wife and I run -http://www.livelingua.com – with all the information I have been able to get to date (from over the web and sent to me directly by PC staff and PCV’s). I currently have close to 100 languages with ebooks, audios and even some videos.

The next step for this project is that I am trying to get the world out about this resource so that it can not only be used by PCV’s or those accepted into the Peace Corps, but also so that when people run across material that is not on the site they can send it to me and I can get it up for everybody to use. I was hoping that you could help getting the word out by putting a link on this on your site at:

    https://amberinalbania.wordpress.com/

so that people know it is there. There should be something there for almost everybody. It is all 100% free to use and share. Here is the specific page of the Peace Corps Archive:

Thanks for any help you can provide in making this 3rd goal project a success. And if anybody in your group has some old material they can scan or already have in digital form, and want to add to the archive, please don’t hesitate to pass them my email. Thanks and have a great day.

  4. Your interesting days never seem to end. My heritage is similar. My grandfather was the chicken killer in his small town in Poland. It was considered a great honor. My son married into a chicken raising and feeding family in Petaluma, CA. Who would ever thought that a chicken could link so many people together.

  5. Hey there! I just accepted my invitation to serve as a health education volunteer in Albania with PC. Is there an email I can contact you at? I have so many questions! Thanks!

  6. Hi,
I’ve been reading through your blogging about the country and its one of the most informative I’ve seen. I accepted my PC invitation as a TEFL volunteer and am eagerly awaiting departure in March 2016. If possible, could I email you and ask you some advice regarding your service?

Thank you so much for the amazing read.
